I have truely been a lazy blogger indeed! =P

My last blog was about my week in Canberra............ wow.......... seems like a lifetime ago!

That was followed by a week at Crescent's Head (which is stunning) and then my brothers birthday.

The next week school went back and we had SNOW TRIP which was too good to explain! After that we came back to Boganville for NERDFEST aka. the science and engineering challenge; in which we came second. That Wednesday we had a TOTALLY boring geography excursion but laying around in foreshore park in the sunshine didn't totally suck! =P That Friday we sang at the Mary Mackillop Vigil mass at the Sacred Heart cathedral in Newcastle; it was both disturbing (cause its church) and awesome (because we [our choir] are...) and we had yucky soup (it had mushrooms) and really good bread rolls and yuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyy chocolate cake!

This week has been a blur. I was whacked in the back of the head with a soccer ball on Monday in PE which left me to do my biodiversity test with a concussion. It was FUN!
I don't remember Tuesday or Wednesday. lol.
Thursday, I (hopefully) didn't flunk my math test (which probably means I epically failed! lol) then had non-class classes and my guitar lesson. I'm sooo happy because I can almost play Blackbird by the Beatles and am now learning Under the Bridge by RHCP!!! Then worked on my silver ring in VD (Which is actually looking kinda cool!) and then had choir rehearsal in the new COLA (which i quite like...) then went home and got ready to go back for St Joeys on Show. Which would have been a good night if more people came!!! Either way i got to play First Day of My Life and got applause and everything!!! Then went home ate pizza and fell into bed.

Today after dragging myself to school, we helps set up the COLA and went over our song for liturgy. Standard boring-as-shit christian stuff. At least i got to play tambourine!!! lol.
Jammed with the girls (Amy, Shelly and Steffie) and Abbey and Joss during the Student VS Teacher footy game; which totally intimidated the kids from St Mary's Gateshead (who wear reallllllllly short skirts :S). We then took the Choral Spectacular by storm which was AMAZING and we got the most incredible applause afterwards! Then got changed for a repeat of the St Joeys on Show performances and I was SOOOOOO nervous that i screwed up the guitar in my solo but finally got to play Fallen - It was PERFECT!!! I've rarely felt better!!!! Singing on stage is the most amazing feeling ever!!!

Everyone was sooooo fabulous and looked amazing and had a great day!!
Thank you to EVERYONE - it really was a special day!!!
xoxo
Aly

(I'll go into more detail about snow trip when i have more time)
